Tell us the constraint.
We'll tell you if it's solvable.
Most first conversations are thirty minutes and cost nothing. We'll ask what you're trying to move, what data actually exists, and whether the problem needs a model or just better plumbing. If we're the wrong studio for it, we say so and point you somewhere better.
Currently booking Q3 2025 — two engagement slots open.
-
A reply from a principal
Your brief lands with one of the four partners, not a sales team. Within two working days you get a written response: whether we're a fit, what we'd need to know, and a suggested time to talk.
-
A 30-minute scoping call
We dig into the constraint: data availability, the decision being made, who owns it, and what "working" would look like in numbers. You leave with a rough shape of an approach even if we never speak again.
-
A written proposal or a referral
If it's a fit, you get a short proposal with scope, phases, named staff, a fixed price and the gate criteria we'd hold ourselves to. If it isn't, we refer you to a studio that does that work better than we do.
Prefers email? Write the brief here.
This form routes straight to our Airtable pipeline — the same board we scope engagements from. Fill in what you know; leave the rest blank. Nothing is required except a way to reach you.
What helps us most
- The decision or workflow that's costing you time or money.
- What data you have, and roughly how much of it.
- Anyone already working on it internally.
- Any hard deadline — funding, audit, launch, season.
What we don't need
- A finished spec. Bring the problem.
- An RFP or vendor comparison table.
- Confidential data — describe it, don't attach it.
Brief received.
A principal will read it and reply within two working days. If it's urgent, call +31 20 308 1940 and mention you've sent a brief.
Before you write
The questions that come up most in first calls.
What does an engagement usually cost?
Scoping phases start at €40k and run three to five weeks. Full builds typically land between €150k and €400k depending on the number of systems, integration surface and evaluation rigour. We quote fixed-price per phase, never hourly, and you can stop at any gate.
How fast can you start?
Scoping calls usually happen within a week of a brief. Engineering capacity for a full build is the constraint — we're booking Q3 2025 with two slots open. If it's genuinely urgent we can occasionally shuffle, but we won't promise that before we've talked.
Do you work under NDA before a first call?
Yes, and we can send our standard mutual NDA same-day. That said, a scoping call rarely needs one — describe the problem and the data shape, not the data itself. We hold all inbound briefs confidential regardless.
Will you sign a fixed-scope contract if we already have a spec?
Sometimes, but we'll usually push back on the spec first. Nine out of ten specs we receive describe a solution before the constraint is nailed down, and fixed-scoping a mis-framed problem produces a delivered feature nobody adopts. We'd rather spend a short paid phase pressure-testing the framing.
Where is the team based, and do you travel?
Amsterdam and Lisbon, with the whole studio overlapping CET working hours. We're remote-first for focus work and travel for kickoffs, gates and any workshop that genuinely needs a room. Travel is budgeted in the proposal, not billed as a surprise.
Or skip the form and just book the call.
Thirty minutes, four questions, no deck. Pick a slot that works and we'll show up with someone who can actually answer technical questions.
